Dan McKeever Scholarship Fund

The Orthotic and Prosthetic Education and Development Fund is pleased to announce the Dan McKeever Scholarship Program to provide grants to individuals who are pursuing an education in orthotics and prosthetics. Each year the program will award $1000 to three deserving O&P baccalaureate students.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be rising seniors in an accredited O&P bachelors degree program as well as:

demonstrate a financial need,
display leadership qualities,
contribute to their own education financially,
maintain a GPA of at least 3.0

APPLICATIONS: Students may apply directly for the scholarship, or a professor may nominate them. To be considered for the award, students must submit a completed application, a letter of reference, a transcript and a 200-word essay on why they want to work in the orthotic and/or prosthetic professions by May 30, 2008.

DEADLINE: Applications must be received by May 30, 2008.
