EDITOR'S COMMENTS

Jeffrey A. Nemeth, CPO, FAAOP

A new season is upon the Journal of Prosthetics and Orthotics, a season of change. As Machiavelli said, "One change always leaves the way open for the establishment of others." It is with this view to the future, a view to new changes, and new growth, that I welcome the transition to a new editorial leadership and direction at JPO.

Over the next year, David Boone, PhD, MPH, CP, will be transitioning to the leadership role of our journal, as I will withdraw into the background. My three-year tenure has seen much increase in quality and number of submissions to the journal, and I am proud of the high standards of research quality and presentation which are now being set. I know David will continue to improve the level of articles and continue solicitation of the innovative and important research being conducted around the country and abroad by practitioners in our field.

I hope that you as readers will continue to submit your findings and to demand the excellence of articles you have come to expect.
