Annual Meeting

The Academy Annual Meeting and Scientific Symposium is a yearly forum for O&P professionals to join with colleagues to explore and discuss the current and future prospects for the O&P profession. The Annual Meeting program offers clinical, technical and professional development programming with a focus on evidence-based practice. Details on the next Academy Annual Meeting can be found at www.academyannualmeeting.org.

The Academy is known both nationally and internationally for providing superior education. The Academy Clinical Content Committee develops the education programming for the Annual Meetings. The education content is based on organized sessions (symposia, instructional courses, clinical techniques), Thranhardt Lectures, Free Paper and Poster presentations. The Clinical Content Committee determines the topics of the organized sessions, reviews the abstracts to determine those most appropriate for the Thranhardt and Free Paper presentations and reviews the Poster Presentation abstracts to ensure they are appropriate for display at the meeting. Free Paper and Thranhardt Abstract Submissions for the 2012 Annual Meeting Are No Longer Being Accepted.

The Academy Exhibit Hall is well-known for its personal and interactive atmosphere. Practitioners and exhibitors interact one-on-one in an equal, open forum. Academy meeting participants know that they will receive individual attention in the Exhibit Hall and walk away with vital product knowledge to improve their practice. Download an Exhibitor Prospectus for information on Exhibiting, or you may visit the Annual Meeting website (www.AcademyAnnualMeeting.org) for further details.
