Dear Academy Member,

Make sure you've marked your calendar for March 19-22, 2003 to attend the Academy's Annual Meeting in San Diego. You're going to like what you see!

The changes to the meeting format and structure that began three years ago, as part of the Academy's Blue Ribbon Task Force on O&P education, have proven to be a huge success with members. The 2003 San Diego meeting's educational programming will include symposia on controversial topics, instructional courses, case presentations, free papers and manufacturers' technical workshops. In addition the meeting will feature the Thranhardt Lecture Series focusing on the top research papers in the profession and the Academy's Awards Program that honors Academy members who have made significant contributions to the O&P profession.

The San Diego meeting is shaping up to be an outstanding program, offering attendees a total of 72 PCE credits to choose from. I look forward to you joining me in San Diego for a week of learning, camaraderie, and an opportunity to enjoy the warmth and hospitality of the San Diego community.
