An overview of advancements in several areas including voluntary closing prehensor technology, electronic micro controller innovation, progressive interface design, and a creative approach to bridging the gap between the prosthetist and occupational therapist in the context of the rehabilitation strategy will be presented.
A unique upper-limb bilateral conference held in Denver in 2002 that shed new insights into the care of individuals with high-level bilateral limb loss will be discussed.
