March in San Diego is a beautiful time of year. Temperatures range from 50-75 degrees on average. Expect cool breezes in the evening. The Academy suggests "business casual" for the meeting but remember, air conditioning in hotels runs on the cool side, so be sure to bring a sweater. Cocktail attire is appropriate for the Academy Awards and Banquet on Friday evening.
The Sheraton offers a complimentary shuttle to/from the San Diego International Airport from 5:00 am–Midnight each day. The airport is only one mile from the hotel. If you prefer to take a taxi, the fare is approximately $7.
