Dear Academy Member,
I want to personally invite you to attend the Academy’s Annual Meeting, February 25-28, 2004, in New Orleans. I’m confident you’re going to like what you see!
The 2004 New Orleans meeting focuses on what the Academy does best —CLINICAL EDUCATION! Instructional courses, symposia and free papers are three of the key elements that contribute to the success of the meeting. We’ve added something new this year: Clinical Techniques sessions modeled after sessions offered at international meetings. These will provide tangible knowledge that you can immediately implement in your practice.
In addition, the meeting features the popular Thranhardt Lecture Series presenting the top research papers in the profession and the Academy’s Awards Program that honors those who have made significant contributions to the O&P profession. The New Orleans meeting is shaping up to be an outstanding program, offering attendees a total of 74 PCE credits from which to choose. I’d like to thank Jim Campbell, PhD, CO and JoAnne Kanas, CPO for developing such impressive content for this meeting. I look forward to you joining me in New Orleans for a week of learning, camaraderie and an opportunity to enjoy the warmth and hospitality of the New Orleans community.
