Product Display Showcase

(for inclusion in Preliminary Program)

  1. The sponsor will be charged a fee of $850.00 per showcase. This fee will cover the cost of the theatre seating and help defray the cost of coffee breaks for attendees. Any audiovisual or other needs must be arranged for and paid for by the sponsor. If such arrangements are necessary, you will be advised of the "official" audiovisual contact.

  2. The Academy cannot be held liable for any costs incurred by the sponsoring company for "no-show" attendees.

  3. There will be no refund issued if a sponsoring company cancels once they have been accepted.

  4. Deadline for receipt of abstracts is September 1, 2003 (for inclusion in preliminary program)

  5. The tentative showcase schedule is:
    Thursday: 1:00 - 1:30pm; 2:00-2:30pm; 3:00-3:30pm; 4:00-4:30pm.
    Friday: 1:00 - 1:30pm; 2:00-2:30pm; 3:00-3:30pm; 4:00-4:30pm.

  6. Use of equipment in a product display: It shall be the responsibility of the host company to ensure that the company is in compliance with existing fire and safety regulations. It is advised that each company hosting a showcase contact the Convention Services Manager at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans, (504) 561-1234 for the purpose of ascertaining applicable regulations and the existence of any restrictions (ie. ovens).

        technical workshop and other information will automatically be emailed to the Academy and
        they will review your submission when they receive your payment. Please send
        your check for $850 for each workshop (Please fill out seperate forms for each Showcase)
