The Academy Annual Meeting education program continues to evolve. The Thranhardt Lecture Series is an integral part of the Annual Meeting program. The clinical program includes Instructional Courses, Symposia, Free Papers, and Poster Presentations. Current clinical information is key to keeping interest high.

The Howard R. Thranhardt Lecture Series is an education fund established in 1995 by J.E. Hanger Southeast in memory of Howard R. Thranhardt, CP. The fund provides a $1,000 honorarium for one hour of education programming at the Academy Annual Meeting. Two $500 honoraria will be awarded to the selected presentations.

Based upon the submitted abstracts four presentations will be chosen as potential recipients of the Thranhardt Lecture Series honorarium. These presentations will be delivered at the Annual Meeting. The winners will be determined based upon content, delivery and scientific relevance of the presentation.

Thranhardt Lecture Series Papers must be:

  • on a current or clinically relevant topic and
