The Hyatt Regency New Orleans is located downtown, minutes from the French Quarter, Bourbon Street and Mississippi river front. The hotel is connected to the Louisiana Superdome and New Orleans Shopping Centre.

The hotel offers a heated, outdoor lap/wading pool, outdoor whirlpool and sundeck. There is a health club adjacent to the pool, with exercise cycles, steppers, stair climbers, rowers, treadmills, and Universal fitness equipment.

Guest rooms feature TV with remote control, cable movie channels, in-room pay movies, voice mail, telephone, computer hookup, data port, individual climate control, full bath amenities, hairdryer, and turndown service is available on request.

You are encouraged to make your reservations early. The discounted hotel rate expires on January 27, 2004.


What to Wear

Late February weather will range from 50-70 degrees on average. The Academy suggests business casual for all meeting programs and events. Remember, air conditioning in hotels runs on the cool side!


Ground Transportation

The Hyatt Regency is located 15 minutes from the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. Airport Shuttle operates service to the Hyatt Regency (first stop) for $13 per person each way. Reservations are not necessary for your transport to the hotel. The shuttle service is located on the baggage claim level. Cabs are available and will cost approximately $27 each way. To return to the airport, make reservations by calling (504) 522-3500 at least 48 hours in advance.
