The Academy Annual Meeting education program continues to evolve. The Free Papers are playing an increasingly large part in the program format. Free Paper submissions should offer solutions to common problems, patient and practice management techniques, innovative uses of technology, current research findings, and much more.

  • Do you have research to share that will offer more effective results in patient care?

  • Have you found a proven patient care technique that you want to share?

  • Can you make a difference in the way other practitioners care for their patients?

Requirements for Submission of Abstract:

  • All abstracts must be on a single topic designed to highlight issues of interest.

  • Presentations should be no more than 10 minutes in length.

  • All abstracts will be peer reviewed by the Clinical Content Committee, which reserves the right to accept or reject abstracts for inclusion in the program.

Using the online form provided below, follow these easy steps:

  1. Write a 200-word description defining the precise content of the presentation. Outline the purpose of your study, methods used, summary of results, and major conclusions.

  2. Describe your speaking experience and expertise with this topic.

  3. Provide examples of how the material has been implemented.

  4. Provide examples of how your ideas can be transferred to others.

  5. Attach a short biographical sketch of the speaker(s).

  6. Provide examples of how your ideas can be transferred to others.

Please do not send supplemental materials. One presenter may submit no more than two abstracts. Abstracts must be typewritten. Proposals constituting sales pitches for products or services are not appropriate. Notification letters will be mailed eight weeks after the submission date.
