The Scientific Societies of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists are groups of individuals who pursue common goals in a specific area of orthotics and/or prosthetics.

The Scientific Societies provide a forum within the Academy for individuals with special interests to share information and knowledge among members, to encourage research, to present and publish the results, and to create learning modules for the Paul E. Leimkuehler Online Learning Center (OLC). To become involved, visit the individual web page of each society and contact the officers directly, or contact the Academy. For details about the Scientific Societies, visit the links below.

Welcome to the Academy Societies Central group. This group provides you with a community of members from all of our societies to combine resources and discussion among members.
