Chapter Benefits/Areas of Involvement
Reduced rates at state meetings. Working with St. Petersburg College to establish an O&P program. Promoting licensed practitioners. Residency reimbursement program. Assistance to facilities that want to bring in residence.
Chapter Goals and Objectives
Assist in the establishment of the new O&P program at St. Pete College in Florida. Monitor legislative activities affecting O&P. Promote high standards in patient care. Advocacy
Upcoming Chapter Highlights
State meeting with FAOP, July 28-30 at the Sheraton Bal Harbour in Miami Beach. Continuation of Second Saturday Mandatory State CEU Program.
Previous Chapter Highlights
Assisted in obtaining Medicaid funding for adults. Contributed $64,000 to the St. Pete College O&P program. Success continued with an informative two day orthotic PCE course training in February
