Previous Chapter Highlights
The 2008 Annual Meeting was held in Mount Snow, Vermont on October 22-24th..
The 2007 Annual Meeting was held at The Hilton Hotel in Mystic, CT on November 7-9th..
The program started a day early with the WalkAide Certification Course .
Total possible credits for last years program including WalkAide was 31.25.
Chapter Benefits/Areas of Involvement
Through chapter membership, practitioners are recognized as practicing according to Academy standards.
The Chapter has an Athletic Fund for clients of the New England Chapter orthotic and prosthetic facilities so individuals can participate in competitive athletic programs.
The Chapter has contributed to the Academy Grassroots marketing efforts, to the Kurt Marshall fund, and to the Northeast Passage.
Chapter Goals and Objectives
Conduct activities which promote the attainment of the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct of practitioners.
Collaborate with recognized educational, research and other organizations to enhance and further develop the profession of orthotics and prosthetics.
Provide continuing education to enhance the professional and ethical competency of practitioners.
