2007 In Review
NJ AAOP Annual Meeting took place in Atlantic City on October 17-19th, 2007
The meeting was attended by 250
The meeting offered 86 Exhibitor tables
There was presentations by physicians and practitioners highlighting new technology and patient management
Symposiums for Medicare Updates, CAD/CAM in O&P and Carbon AFOs
Development of a system to confirm NJ Licensee CEC credits
First implosion of a casino in Atlantic City.
2006 In Review
Conducted practitioner presentations with emphasis on treating war veterans
Orthotic & Prosthetic symposiums from practitioners point of view
NJ Chapter sponsored a hole at the Annual JFK/EAGA golf tournament
A $5,000 contribution was given to The Academy's Project Quantum Leap
Worked with the state of NJ consumer affairs in an attempt at setting up our program to allow the required CEU’s for NJ Licensure
Chapter History
The New Jersey Chapter has been in existence since 1998. We have a very strong and active membership, with good attendance at seminars.
Committee Work/Newsletters
The New Jersey Chapter puts out a newsletter twice yearly. The Education Committee meets 4-6 times each year.
