2008 In Review
New Jersey AAOP Annual Meeting took place in Atlantic City, NJ on November 12-14th, 2008, at The Balley's Hotel & Casino
Meeting was dedicated to our friend Robert Frank, CPO/L, who recently passed away
The meeting was attended by 292
The meeting offered 80 Exhibitor tables and 13 Booths
There was presentations by physicians and practitioners highlighting new technology
Symposiums for Medicare Updates, Vacuum Systems, FES and Technical Fabrication
CPR and First Aid were offered as a Workshop
Other Chapter Highlights
Donated $5,000 to the Orthotic and Prosthetic Education and Research Foundation (OPERF) at the 2008 AAOP National Meeting
Sponsor for the 2008 JFK/EAGA Howard Taylor Amputee Golf Tournament
Chapter History
The New Jersey Chapter has been in existence since 1998. We have a very strong and active membership, with good attendance at seminars.
Committee Work/Newsletters
The New Jersey Chapter puts out a newsletter twice yearly. The Education Committee meets 4-6 times each year.
