Alicia Davis, MPA, CPO, FAAOP

Alicia Davis, MPA, CPO, FAAOP, has been in the O&P profession for 25 years. She earned her undergraduate degree in health care administration from University of Michigan-Flint (1989.) An undergraduate visit to an O&P facility inspired her decision to pursue a career as an ABC-certified orthotist and prosthetist. She received her prosthetic certificate (1990) and orthotic certificate (1992) from Northwestern University. She also holds a master's degree in public administration from the University of Michigan (2001).

During her career, she has served as an NCOPE board member, an Academy board member, a residency director, and an instructor. After 25 years in the profession, she still looks forward to seeing patients each day. A former racer, outside of work Alicia enjoys the thrills of a speedy bike ride. Her 2012 summer plans include a ride in the Rocky Mountains with her nephew. Her quiet time includes gathering around a wood fire with a good book, her family and her dogs. We recently caught up with Alicia to ask her a few questions.
