_blondes_chellieBETHESDA, MD — The American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists is proud to announce that Executive Director, Chellie Hollis Blondes has earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). The CAE designation is the highest professional credential in the association industry.

Academy president, Kate Allyn, CPO/L, FAAOP commented, "The Academy board of directors continues to be impressed and so proud of the work Chellie has put into this huge accomplishment. The CAE certification requires great experience in management, leadership, and administration skills with highly accomplished growth in governance, structure, public policy, marketing, and communications. These are all skills we seek at the Academy. We enthusiastically congratulate Chellie and are honored and delighted to call her our executive director with these credentials!"

The CAE Program serves to elevate professional standards, enhance individual performance, and designate those who have acquired and demonstrated knowledge essential to the practice of association management. The CAE Program is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
