Steven A. Gard, PhD, JPO editor-in-chief, is the executive director of the Northwestern University Prosthetics-Orthotics Center for Education & Research, Chicago, Illinois. He is on the faculty of the Northwestern University Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, the Feinberg School of Medicine, and the Department of Biomedical Engineering, McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science.


Kristie Bjornson, PT, PhD, MS, is an Associate Professor, Developmental Medicine, Pediatrics at the University of Washington and Seattle Children's Hospital Research Institute.


Goeran Fiedler, PhD, is an assistant professor for the Master of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics (MSPO) program at the University of Pittsburgh


John R. Fisk, MD, is chairman of the board of Trustees of Exceed-Worldwide, formerly known as the Cambodia Trust, which has established five schools of prosthetics and orthotics in Southeast Asia; he also is professor emeritus at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.


Mark Geil, PhD, is the chair of the Department of Kinesiology and Health Georgia State University. He specializes in biomechanics, and pediatric prosthetics and orthotics.


Michelle J. Hall, MS, CPO, FAAOP(D), is the prosthetic team lead and residency director at Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare, St. Paul, Minnesota. She specializes in working with adult patients.


Daniel Heitzmann, Dipl. Ing. (FH), is a Research Engineer with the Department of Orthopedics, Trauma Surgery and Spinal Cord Injury, Heidelberg University Hospital, Heidelberg, Germany. He specializes in lower-limb orthotics and prosthetics as well as gait analysis.


M. Jason Highsmith, PT, DPT, PhD, CP, FAAOP, is dual-licensed in prosthetics and physical therapy. Highsmith is associate professor at the University of South Florida, Tampa, and co-director of the university's Center for Neuromusculoskeletal Research.


Peter Kyberd, PhD, MSc, BSc, is the Head of Department and Professor of Rehabilitation Cybernetics at the University of Greenwich, London, UK. He is a specialist in the design and evaluation of upper-limb prosthetic components.


Matthew J. Major, PhD, is a research health scientist at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center and assistant professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Northwestern University, Chicago, Illinois.


Sara Morgan, PhD, L/CPO, is acting Assistant Professor in the Prosthetics & Orthotics Program, Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Washington.


Elaine Owen, MSc SRP, MCSP, is Superintendent and Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist at the Child Development Centre in Bangor, UK. She specializes in tuning AFOs.


Phillip M. Stevens CPO, MEd, FAAOP, is a prosthetist/orthotist with Hanger Clinic in Salt Lake City, Utah. He specializes in upper-extremity prosthetics.
