We know flexibility matters, so the Academy now offers payment options for your membership dues. Instead of paying all at once, you can spread your payments over time—making it easier to stay connected and enjoy your benefits without interruption.

The payment plan is available for Professional, International Affiliate, Associate, and Newly Certified Professional memberships only.
Pay in Equal Installments
Your total annual dues are split into equal payments. The number of installments depends on when you join and your resulting expiration date.
Stay Active all Year
As long as your payments remain current, your membership stays active and your access to Academy resources and benefits continues without interruption.
Important Details
- Enrolling in the payment plan means you are committing to a full membership term.
- Payments are non-refundable except in cases of duplicate charges, billing errors, or verified system malfunction.
- If a payment fails, the Academy will contact you to update your information.
- Your membership will be terminated if payment is not received within the applicable grace period.
- Your membership will automatically renew each year, and you will be notified approximately 30 days before renewal.
Membership Term and Payment Schedule
The length of the membership term and total dues owed depend on the date of enrollment. Please refer to the schedule below for applicable dues and expiration dates.

Payment Plan Terms and Conditions
The payment plan allows eligible members to pay annual membership dues in equal installments. By enrolling in the plan, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Eligibility
The payment plan is available for Professional, International Affiliate, Associate, and Newly Certified Professional memberships only. Members must maintain a valid credit or debit card on file for the duration of the plan.
Payment Terms
The total annual dues amount is divided into equal payments, the number of which is dependent on the membership join and the resulting expiration date. Payments are processed through the Academy’s secure online payment system. Members are responsible for ensuring that their payment method remains valid and up to date.
Automatic Renewal
Enrollment in the Payment Plan includes automatic annual renewal of membership. The Academy will send renewal notifications approximately 30 days prior to the new membership year. Unless the member cancels the plan before the first payment of the new term, installment payments will continue automatically for the next membership year.
Cancellations
Members may cancel the Payment Plan at any time by contacting the Academy. If cancellation occurs before the full dues are paid, the remaining balance becomes immediately due to maintain active membership status. If the member chooses not to pay the balance, membership will be suspended until payment is completed. Refunds are not issued for previous installments unless a billing error has occurred.
Failed or Declined Payments
If a monthly payment is declined, the Academy will attempt to reprocess the charge up to two times over 10 business days. If payment cannot be processed after two attempts, the member will be notified and membership will be suspended until the issue is resolved. During suspension, access to Academy benefits may be restricted.
Updating Payment Information
Members can update payment details at any time by logging into their Academy Member Compass or contacting staff. It is the member’s responsibility to maintain current payment information to avoid lapses in membership.
Refunds
Refunds are issued only in cases of duplicate charges, billing errors, or verified system malfunction. No refunds are provided for partial membership terms or voluntary cancellation after the membership year begins.
Membership Status
Membership is considered active only while payments are current. Missed or failed payments may result in immediate suspension and removal from the member roster. Reinstatement may require payment of any outstanding balance and applicable application fees.
Changes to Plan Terms
The Academy reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Payment Plan at any time. Any changes will be communicated in advance to all participating members.
Data Security
All payment data is processed through a PCI-compliant system. The Academy does not store full credit or debit card numbers on its servers. Member financial information is handled in accordance with applicable data privacy and security regulations.
Acceptance of Terms
By enrolling in the Membership Payment Plan, the member acknowledges and accepts these terms and conditions.
