The Academy’s John Michael Student Poster Awards

Named for John Michael, CPO, FAAOP, FISPO—whose visionary leadership and commitment to advancing the profession are deeply woven into the Academy’s history—this award will serve as a meaningful and enduring tribute while reinforcing the Academy’s dedication to education, research, and professional growth.

The John Michael Student Poster Awards will be announced at the Academy's Annual Meeting & Scientific Symposium,  honoring a legend of the O&P profession while empowering the next generation of clinicians and researchers.

Program Details

All students whose posters are accepted by the Academy’s Clinical Content Committee (CCC) and who are members of the Academy will be considered. Award recipients will be selected prior to the Academy Annual Meeting & Scientific Symposium each year based on clinical relevance, research quality, and impact.

• 1st Place – $750 and Certificate of Recognition
  
• 2nd Place – $500 and Certificate of Recognition
• 3rd Place – $250 and Certificate of Recognition

Award recipients will be acknowledged during the Annual Meeting, featured in Academy communications, and celebrated across digital platforms.
