The Academy is involved in public policy that directly impacts the ability of practitioners to serve their patients. Your membership allows us to speak with one powerful voice on behalf of the profession. Issues of concern include licensure, education, reimbursement, and research. The Academy is also a member of the O&P Alliance, a consortium of orthotic and prosthetic organizations that advocates for state and federal policy that improves the practice of O&P.
