The Step-Up Dues Program is designed specifically for newly certified orthotic and prosthetic professionals, offering a graduated dues structure during your first years of certification so you can stay engaged, connected, and supported as you launch your career.

Graduated Dues Structure

Year 4	Full Professional Membership Rate

Dues may be prorated based on your enrollment date in accordance with the Academy’s standard prorating policy.

Who Is Eligible?

Have earned your initial orthotist, prosthetist, or orthotist/prosthetist certification through ABC
Enroll within 12 months of your certification date
The Step-Up Dues Program is available only once per individual

How to Enroll

Complete the Step-Up Dues Program application.

Provide your ABC certification year.

Academy staff will verify your certification.

Once approved, you’ll be enrolled as a Professional Member under the program.

Program Requirements

Maintain continuous Academy membership
Enroll in automatic payments (auto-pay)

Important Notes

The Step Up dues program cannot be applied retroactively.
The Academy’s standard membership policies, including prorating, apply.
The Academy reserves the right to modify or discontinue the program at any time. Current participants will continue under the terms in effect at the time of enrollment.
