Evidence Notes
These summaries provide up-to-date synthesized evidence regarding specific health technologies, including systematic reviews and evidence reports. Evidence Notes do not provide healthcare recommendations, but they help direct clinicians, manufacturers, third-party payers, and other professionals to evidence that supports informed decision-making.
State-of-the-Science Findings
The Academy’s State-of-the-Science Conference findings offer clinical guidance on practice fundamentals that have been scientifically validated. These findings help define and encourage best practices across the profession and within training programs.
Outcome Measures Toolkits
These concise resources provide recommendations for the clinical use of outcome measures and are designed to support informed, consistent practice.
How-To Videos
Short videos and reference guides help clinicians understand, use, and report patient outcome measures more effectively in practice.
Clinical Practice Guidelines
Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) are systematically developed statements intended to help clinicians determine the most appropriate care for their patients. CPGs should never replace the clinician’s knowledge of patient-specific presentations, diagnoses, and treatment needs. To earn the confidence of the profession and the public, CPGs must be created and evaluated in a rigorous and transparent manner.
