Manisha Bhaskar serves as the Chief Communications and Strategy Officer at the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (the Academy). With over 25 years of experience supporting the orthotic and prosthetic (O&P) profession, Ms. Bhaskar is a recognized leader in communications, public relations, and strategic development. Her career has been defined by initiatives that empower O&P professionals through innovative programs, impactful partnerships, and forward-thinking strategies, all aimed at enhancing resources for patient care providers.
Ms. Bhaskar has worked collaboratively with leading organizations such as the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC), the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA), the National Commission on Orthotic and Prosthetic Education (NCOPE), the Orthotics and Prosthetics Foundation for Education and Research, and the Orthotic & Prosthetic Activities Foundation (OPAF).
