This session is presented by the Lower Limb Orthotics and Gait Societies and provides the opportunity to hear from prominent O&P researchers who focus on lower-limb orthotics and gait-analysis research: Will Bromwich, MCSP, lead physical therapist at the ORLAU (Orthotic Research & Locomotor Assessment Unit) Gait Laboratory, and Andrew Ries, PhD of Gillette Children’s Hospital and Professor at UCSD. They will present relevant research and discuss how gait lab data can help inform orthotic design and decision making.
