Shared decision-making is where clinicians and patients share the best available evidence when making health decisions, and where patients are supported to consider options, to achieve informed preferences. Shared Decision making demonstrates an opportunity to improve patient satisfaction, adherence to care plans, and inform expectations for care in prosthetics and orthotics. This platform will discuss opportunities for shared decision making within different patient populations.
