Tillges Technologies Using Prepreg Carbon Fiber Materials and a 7-Axis Robotic Carver to Precisely

Tillges Technologies: Using Prepreg Carbon Fiber Materials and a 7-Axis Robotic Carver to Precisely Create Custom Partial Foot Prostheses and Orthotic Devices that Provide Patients with Energy Return, Stability, and Comfort (AT018-3B)

For more than three decades, Tillges Orthotics & Prosthetics, a family-owned business, has served patients in Minnesota and western Wisconsin who need O&P care while keeping an eye toward innovation. In 2012, Tillges Technologies, a design and central fabrication facility, was formed to bring advanced devices and products to the profession. PressureGuardian®, a digital pressure sensor tool that helps clinicians track and manage diabetic wounds, was their first product. Since then, Tillges Technologies introduced its Propulsion® line of orthotic and prosthetic devices made from prepreg carbon fiber rather than conventional plastic materials. Today, Tillges provides services for a number of conditions, including foot drop, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, stroke, Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, partial foot amputation, ankle instabilities, vascular conditions, all levels of amputation, and more.
