Cranial Remolding Orthosis Study on the Use of a Temperature Sensor to Measure Wear Time (JPO037-2b)
This course examines the impact of daily wear time on the effectiveness of cranial remolding orthoses (CROs) in treating nonsynostotic deformational plagiocephaly (DP). The study compares self-reported and measured wear times and analyzes the correlation between wear time and treatment outcomes, such as reductions in cranial vault asymmetry (CVA) and cephalic ratio (CR). Clinicians will gain insight into realistic wear schedules for CROs, aiming to improve both patient adherence and treatment success. (2.0 Scientific Credits)
