During the rehabilitation process (RHB) of the patient with traumatic upper-limb amputation, the use of immersive virtual reality (IVR) facilitates the incorporation of the prosthesis into the body schema. This reinforces and enhances sensorimotor and cognitive stimulation to improve motor learning and motor patterns, while normalizing global gestures.
