Your Membership at Work: The Academy’s 2025 Year in Review Is Now Available
The American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists is pleased to share the 2025 Year in Review, a comprehensive look at what member support made possible this year across education, research, community, and advocacy.
2025 was a year of measurable progress. The Academy expanded access to continuing education through an enhanced CEU Concierge Program and added 28 new unbiased learning opportunities to O&P Knowledge Central. The Journal of Prosthetics and Orthotics moved to a digital-first publishing format, delivering 44 peer-reviewed papers with faster access for clinicians. Three new specialty communities launched on Academy Exchange, and more than 2,500 clinicians and students engaged through meetings, webinars, and podcasts throughout the year.
The Academy also advanced 12 national advocacy priorities through the Public Policy Committee and the O&P Alliance — supporting patient access to care, workforce sustainability, and professional recognition — while two new Clinical Practice Guidelines moved into active development.
